Unbifercated fashion sense?

Ok, I have never claimed to know what is really fashionable and what trendy new outfit is gonna run away and make it big. However...

Today, I saw something that just really spoke to me. I suppose the deep scottish roots that run through my blood awakened some ancient ritualistic yearning within me, and I found myself fascinated by the fact that the guy who was wearing it was so completely comfortable in his own skin to simply show up at the airport donning it.

I'm sure, by now, you've probably guessed I'm talking about a KILT. But it wasn't just any kilt...not the kind you'd find on a bagpiper or a Scottish Guardsman. No, this kilt was actually quite different and, as my fellow crewmates would atttest, looked good on the guy. So I did a little research on it and thought I'd pass it on to you...

The company that has stylized this ancient garment is called Utilikilts out of Seattle, Washington (not really a stretch to believe that now, is it? LOL). They started their company in 2000 and apparently now have a worldwide following (although I honestly never saw one until today). You can see this fashionable apparel at Utilikilts.com

I'd like to know what you think about the revival of this medievil fashion garment. The website has quite an extensive photo gallery of customers who have purchased the garment and are not ashamed to "throw caution to the wind".
